For efficient rough planning or strategic planning, top-down planning can also be carried out at any aggregation level such as sales/country, sales/product group, total energy costs. These planned values are then distributed downwards by the model in the selected ratio, evaluated and aggregated again. This enables planning to be carried out using the countercurrent method.

Plausibility check
Communicate the targets TOP down, e.g. for DB, sales, quantities and find out from the detailed planning bottom up the feasibility of the targeted goals. From the detailed planning, the solution then creates the condensed planning for P+L, balance sheet, liquidity and also consolidates these if necessary.
